Cross-generational trust: Builds bridges between young people, adults, and institutions.

  • FROM YOUTH

“I like the simplicity of the flow, from identifying the problem to coming up with the campaign product. Helps untangle a lot of the thinking process that goes with conceptualization.”

    — Justine Balane, CYAN, Philippines

  • FROM YOUTH

“It was comprehensive and detailed to the point where we could never be overwhelmed with the steps. I like how colorful and interactive the model is, especially because of its graphics, video, and illustrations.”

    — Dohniero Lozano, AHA, Philippines

  • FROM THE GOVERNMENT

“The Shift campaign has made me learn and realize that power can be shifted at all levels. Through this Shift campaign introduced to me, I have learned how to work with young people, support them, help them build connections, and provide a shared platform for them to thrive. And i believe that’s what Shift is all about”

    — Richard Banda, Mayor of Lilongwe, Malawi

  • FROM OUR PARTNERS

“We have never used the youths themselves to lead such campaigns. So we felt this SHIFT has come at the right moment, because the youths will engage fellow youths in ending early child marriages. We believe this will have a very good impact in terms of youth engagement and also involvement because it is a new thing to have youths lead a campaign.”

    — Stanley Chalakwa, Programs Officer for CASDO, Malawi

  • FROM THE COMMUNITY

“Our market has never looked as good as it does now and that has led to increased revenue from our stores. It is no longer just a market, it is an office where we all go to work.”

    — Chinsapo Market seller, Malawi
